Coaching Legacy
Coach Kris Conner
Head Coach, 1991–2023
For more than three decades, Kris Conner built Kearney Catholic into one of Nebraska's premier volleyball programs. Leading the Stars from 1991 to 2023, she captured four consecutive state championships from 2012 to 2015, including an undefeated 36–0 season in 2012, added three state runner-up finishes, and reached the state tournament 19 times. She stepped down from Kearney Catholic in 2024 as the second-winningest active coach in Nebraska with a 753–241 career record, having sent 31 of her players on to play college volleyball. The standard she set continues to define Stars volleyball today.
